Kenya and Djibouti are locking horns to replace South Africa as a non-permanent member in the United Nations Security Council-voting for which will be held on 17th June. The UN Security Council has 15 members, five permanent and 10 non-permanent who are elected on a regional-rotation basis. The non-permanent members are elected for a two-year term.
