Eritrean Henok Mulueberhane rode his way into Yellow Jersey after winning stage 3 of the ongoing 15th edition of Tour du Rwanda on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old African champion finished third and second in the first and second stages respectively of the longest stage of the 2023 tour.
The sprinter covered the 199.5km distance from Huye, in Southern Province, to Musanze, in Northern Province, in five hours, 13 minutes, and 37 seconds.
Mulueberhane, who is riding for Italian side Green Project-Bardiani, unseats British cyclist Ethan Vernon who won the opening two stages.
