A London healthtech firm says it has created a tool that could help hospitals cope with the huge backlog of patients needing surgery when restrictions are lifted.
Draper and Dash, which specialises in using artificial intelligence and data in healthcare, has designed an algorithm which its says can help doctors decide who should go to the top of waiting lists.
It will prioritise cancer surgery and eye surgery to prevent blindness and identify patients who can survive surgery.
